What is a flower Bike?

One of the services that Zazu provides is bike rental. Since there is a car restriction in the country, the inhabitants use bikes for transport or go on foot. The main reason for the no-car policy is to reduce our ecological footprint and contribute to a better environment.

Flower Bikes is the official bike rental service of Zazu. They provide different kinds of bikes: regular bikes, e-bikes that work on solar cells, tandem bikes and cargo bikes. The regular bike is available in both children's and adult sizes. Besides the essentials of a bike, such as front light, rear light, brakes, gears and a bell, every bike (except for the cargo bikes) is furnished with a flower basket. The flower basket is a bicycle basket, placed on the front of the bike and decorated with flowers. The flowers characterize the Zazu bikes and are made of ecological material and brighten up the vehicle.

Where can I find my Flower Bike?
​
On every corner of every block in Zazu, there are bike racks with Flower Bikes. You can rent them whenever and wherever you like. In order to unlock a bike, you must scan the QR code on the bike with your phone. When you scan it, the bike will be activated and unlocked through the app, the “Flower Bike” app.
If the bike you are using is broken and needs to be fixed, you can go to the nearest “Flower Fix” point. Those are marked on the map, which you can see in the app.

How much does it cost to rent a Flower Bike
For the different kinds of bikes, there are different prices.

Promotion
All over the country there is promotional material visible on billboards and smaller signs. The
posters will especially be placed near tourist areas and where many people pass by on a daily
basis.
If you’ve had a Flower Bike for two years, you will receive a discount of 10% for renting a bike
the following year.
